Random thoughts about workshop

I thought it would be interesting to post some pictures of the place I spend most of my time in. Sometimes starting as early at 7 AM, sometimes working as late as 1 AM.
All hours in between.
It is very quiet, located in the middle of our woods, about 100 yards from the house. I actually saw a Black Bear one day, walking down the path between the house and shop.
Needless to say, I did not go outside to play that day!
My workshop is a place where I can focus and create, and when I am done for the day, I can leave it all behind. I start anew the next morning.
Using mainly excelsior to stuff the bears and animals I make, it becomes unbearably messy quite often.
But it is all a process.
The texture and feel of the excelsior, the mohair, the tools, the colors that I dye the mohair, from the beginning to the final finished piece. It is a very rewarding process.
I have collected many books and encyclopedias about Teddy Bears and olde Stuffed toys, they continue to provide inspiration, as well as the nature that surrounds me.
I hope you enjoy this little peek into my world!
